      new to smallscale feed-milling

      edited January 2011 in Welcome
      Howdy,

Recently purchased a small flat-dye pellet mill.

had very little success with forming pellets thusfar, and am in need of resources/mentors for operating small-feed mills.

The primary ingredient of the pellets I wish to create is dry (hayed) alfalfa. There is surprisingly little practical information available for the using dry alfalfa in small mills. Hopefully I may learn from the people on this forum, and share what I can.

This seems like a wonderful forum and I am very pleased to have found it.

      Thanks,
      Andrew
