I’ve looked at all of my busy days and my schedule, and the passing phases of the moon. I’ve thrown some chicken bones, consulted the farmer’s almanac, and did a little fairy jig that appeases the time gremlins. The answer from all this bouncing around seems to be Sunday. So, from now on, my updates will appear bimonthly on Sunday nights. This works best for me, because, Fridays are notoriously busy. Sundays are very mellow, and this will buy me Saturday to catch up if needed.
There also seems to be a fair amount of server action that happens on weekdays from various corporate web sites. Since I believe in supporting the work fore distractions of cube dwellers, this move is also congruent with that.
So there you have it. Sunday nights. Same bat time, same bat station.
I found this place almost completely by accident, and was intrigued enough to venture further down this fascinating rabbit hole. I feel the need to state that I was pleasantly surprised by what you’re doing here – it’s fresh, different, and (in places) funny in a clever, subtle way. Not to mention the fantastic artwork, of course. The scenes and characters depicted in each entry fire the imagination, while the writing itself paints a deeper picture that makes it feel real enough to believe – I was particularly hooked by the journal entry detailing the “beginning,” as it were.
As a rule, I don’t leave comments (due to an unfortunate combination of laziness and a lack of much response to voice), but I wanted to leave one here because I wanted to let you know there is at least one person who plans to keep reading. I’m truly impressed by both your concept and it’s execution. Congratulations, and keep up the good work!
