Dragon fire
For centuries dragons have been such a target of mis-information and prejudice that it has driven the poor creatures to the point of near extinction. The few that survived the era of brave knights in search of a name, or the groundless accusations of spurned “damsels in distress,” have attempted to integrate into the mainstream of society by utilizing the one historical skill at which they excel. (Besides the game of checkers.)
Only the dragon who breathed it into life can extinguish the flame that originates from its belly. This preternatural conflagration will also absorb all other natural fires that exist within its close proximity. A single torch lit with dragon fire, properly tossed, can extinguish a veritable blaze with ease. The combination of these effects make dragons the perfect firefighter … if not a great sportsmen.
Those few firehouses that can find and employ dragons often stock checkerboards in reserve, as dragons are just as likely to turn the board to ash, as they are to crown a king of an opposing player.

I have quite a few plot lines which are more narrative and weave in and about some of the characters and places that I have documented here in the panels. Ultimately I will post them in a collective archive with the idea that I link references back to the panels and panels back to the on going stories. It is all meant to be an non-linear book that you can just sort of pick up and browse while still building and contributing to a cumulative story line. Right now it’s all I can do to draw the panels much less edit and re-edit the narrative stories. But I have big hope for this summer.
Thanks for reading and spread the word!

Hey, you’re back! Great page, too. I love the idea of dragon fire actually fighting other fire. Also, the look on the dragon’s face is great.

Your ideas are great. If you are trying to build a world, you are doing a great job.
I will be more inclined to wait until you have a story, however, to continue to read about the characters and ideas that the story envelopes.
Be well.
