So even though I had promised an installment, it didn’t happen. The educational institution that I am associated with is moving the graphic design dept from one part of campus to another. Even though they had movers to facilitate this migration, we felt compelled to assist in moving the 60 odd computers and servers and misc “stuff” that needed special care. This sheduled afternoon of help turned into a week.
When it was done, I had lost my stylus. This happens about once a year. Each year I think to myself that I need to buy a backup, but they are expensive and I am cheap. After almost a week, my wife found it!
The move will continue until school starts I am sure. I am equally sure that I will be involved in putting the puzzle back together again. But with my stylus now attached to my shirt collar with a string like mittens, I am fairly confident that I can resume my fantasy and draw like I am beholding to nobody, with the rest of my life to figure out the details.
